The annual flag raising ceremony at Austin Park in Clearlake will take place Tuesday at 10 a.m. Pictured is Lt. Tim Celli of the Clearlake Police Department as he gives first-graders some assistance during last year’s ceremony on April 14, 2015. The event is coordinated by city officials as well as members of the American Legion and Park Study Club. First- and second-grade students from Burns Valley School will also be present to honor the flag on Tuesday.
