Lakeport >> From kickball and football to Thursday night basketball, the gym at Westlake Seventh-day Adventist School has been the focus of many activities over the years, and students are planning a fundraiser to continue its use.
Originally an Air Force hangar moved to Lakeport in the 1940s, the ceiling is no longer in the best of conditions.
To fix the roof, the school will host a rummage sale on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There will also be a silent auction, food and a jumping house.
Westlake Seventh-day Adventist School is located at 6585 Westlake Road in Lakeport.
