Lakeport >> The People Services, Inc. Annual Chicken-Que Country Picnic takes place June 4 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Lake County Fairgrounds. In addition to the barbecue meal, there will also be a silent auction and music by the LC Diamonds at the family-friendly fundraiser.
The event supports the not-for-profit organization, serving people with intellectual/developmental disabilities in Lake County.
Tickets cost $7 each or four for $25 and are available at People Services, Inc. sites. Call 263-3810 for further information.
The fairgrounds are located at 401 Martin St. in Lakeport.
