A diver from the Northshore Dive Team works to recover a body on Clear Lake Thursday afternoon at the Riviera Heights Marina. Reports of a drowning came in at about 2 p.m. Emergency personnel from CalFire, the Northshore and Kelseyville fire protection districts, as well as from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office were at the scene. The dive team recovered the body at approximately 4 p.m. Information is limited as of press time and will be updated as it becomes available. This was the second body pulled from Clear Lake in less than a week. A fatal boating incident occurred on Saturday, and it took several days until divers were able to recover the man’s body on Monday. – Berenice Quirino — Lake County Publishing
