Lake County >> Breakfast and lunch are now being served at Lakeport Elementary School without charge as part of a program sponsored by Butte County Office of Education CalKidz — Summer Food Program. Free meals for children in Kelseyville as well as Lakeport Library Park will begin on July 5. Each location will provide meals through July 29.
Lakeport Elementary School, 150 Lange St., serves breakfast from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m., lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and will serve supper on June 30 only from 6 to 7 p.m. Lunch at Library Park, 225 Park St. in Lakeport, will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Breakfast at Kelseyville High School, 5480 Main St., will be served from 7:30 to 8 a.m., lunch from 11:30 a.m. to noon.
At Mountain Vista Middle School, 5081 Konocti Road in Kelseyville, breakfast will be from 7:30 to 8 a.m., lunch from 11:20 to 11:45 a.m. A supper will be served on July 28 from 6 to 7 p.m.
All children are welcome during serving times. No pre-registration or documentation is required. All meals must be eaten on site.
Meals will be provided to all children in accordance with federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies.
