Clearlake Oaks >> Over the course of two days, ninth- and tenth-grade girls will get the opportunity to explore traditional and some not-so-traditional careers.
The Girls in Careers Workshop will be held Aug. 2 and 3 at High Valley Ranch, where students will attend multiple sessions and participate in leadership and confidence building exercises with the PSI team, which specializes in personal development seminars. All workshops will include a hands-on project.
This will be an overnight event, so girls should bring their pajamas and be ready for s’mores. Meals, snacks and water will be provided.
Sponsored by the Lake County Office of Education and High Valley Ranch-PSI Seminars, the cost of admission is a girl’s willingness to bring her best, and be willing to learn and grow. Advanced registration is required and can be done at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GirlsinCareers2016. Space is limited to 40 girls.
