UKIAH >> The car count was up and so was the excitement level on Saturday night during racing action at the Ukiah Speedway where the Pro Drifters and their screeching tires were a fan favorite.
“It was exciting to see the cars keep coming in,” race promoter Dave Furia said. “The competition is only part of the reason why the drivers race. They also love putting on a show for the fans. The more cars, the better the show. The better the show, the more the fans get excited. And the drivers can hear the cheers. It really makes for a great night of racing,” Furia added.
