Upper Lake >> The Upper Lake Senior Support Services will host Art in the Afternoon on Monday from 1-5:30 p.m. at the senior support office at 9470 Mendenhall Road.
There will be musical entertainment and light refreshments during this afternoon event. The office sits on the corner of First and Mendenhall Road.
The opportunity to display a piece of art is open to all who would like to share their work or a piece of art that is near and dear to their heart. If you have art to display call ahead at the telephone numbers provided so that you can drop earlier that morning.
The senior support office now shares the space with the Lake County Genealogical Society.
The public is invited to check out their records of family history and visit the office on their open days which are Thursdays and Fridays.
Senior support services offers art classes every second and fourth Tuesdays at noon, exercise every Wednesday at 11 a.m. and provides application assistance with the CalFresh program.
