Clearlake >> A drip irrigation workshop is scheduled for July 15 at 9 a.m. at the Highlands Community Garden in Clearlake. There will be demonstrations on how to set up and maintain a drip irrigation system, and other water-wise ways to water your garden.
Everyone is welcome to come and learn about drip irrigation. Highlands Community Garden members will receive a free drip irrigation kit.
The Highlands Community Garden is now a third of the way complete. Anyone interested in having a plot in the Community Garden should contact Ava Ryan, garden coordinator with North Coast Opportunities at 994-4647, extension 131 for information.
The Highlands Community Garden is located at the Highlands Community/Senior Center, 3245 Bowers Ave. in Clearlake.
