Lakeport >> The third annual Mr. Lake County Pageant is set to take place July 16 at 7 p.m. at the fairgrounds’ Little Theater Building.
The event will again features local men competing in the areas of talent, formal wear, beach wear and interview in hopes of earning the votes of the judges and the audience.
There are some new additions to the pageant as well, including hostesses for the VIP tables, DJ dancing after the winner is crowned and a fifth “buy-a-vote” category.
The Mr. Lake County Pageant is a fundraiser for the Lake County Theatre Company’s Joshua Phillips-Blair Memorial Theatre Building Fund.
This event is intended for audiences 18 and older. Tickets cost $30 in advance, or $35 at the door. VIP tables, which include front-row seating, appetizers, dessert and wine, are available for $300 (seating for 8 people).
