KELSEYVILLE >> The annual Sonoma State/Kelseyville High School Volleyball Camp takes place Aug. 1-4 at the Kelseyville High School gym on 5480 Main St. in Kelseyville.
The camp is divided into two age groups.
Camp A is for girls entering the fifth through eighth grades in the upcoming school year. Check-in time is 11:15 a.m. and camp hours are 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The cost is $90.
Camp B is for girls entering the ninth through 12th grades in the upcoming school year. Check-in time for the morning session is 8:45 a.m. and camp hours are 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Check-in time for the afternoon session is 1:45 p.m. and camp hours are 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $120.
Camp staff includes Bear Grassl, the women’s volleyball head coach at Sonoma State University, as well as members of the Kelseyville High School volleyball staff. The camp will emphasize overhand and underhand passing, spiking, blocking, serving, individual and team offensive formations, and individual and team defensive formations.
Each camper needs a parent or guardian to sign a release and indemnity form.
