Believe it or not, there is water under all that green. A crew sprays weeds in a heavily covered cove in Lakeport on Wednesday. Both state and county departments have been actively spraying hydrilla and other species of water plant that threaten to choke off portions of the lake — as in this instance — or upset the ecological balance. – Carol Brown
