Lakeport >> Men of all shapes, sizes and ages will compete in various states of dress — or undress — for the Third Annual Mr. Lake County Pageant Saturday at the Lake County Fairgrounds.
Contestants will entertain the audience with their talents, formal wear, swimwear and responses to interview questions.
This event, put on by the Lake County Theatre Company, the county’s only nonprofit community theater group, is a fundraiser for the Joshua Phillips-Blair Memorial Theatre building fund.
The 18-and-older event begins at 7 p.m. and will also feature a no-host bar, a raffle, DJ dancing after the crowning and a live auction with a surprise grand prize for the winner.
Tickets cost $30 in advance, $35 at the door and can be purchased at the Soap Shack, the Game Hub, or at lakecountytheatrecompany.org. VIP tables are sold out.
