Middletown >> Every year, 4-H students speak to the Middletown Luncheon Club as they prepare to show their market animals at the Lake County Fair.

“They politely serve lunch to us and answer our questions about raising chickens, turkeys, pigs, lambs, and steers,” Middletown Luncheon Club Coordinator Beth Rudiger said.

The club will meet Wednesday at the Middletown Senior Center, 21256 Washington St. The program will end promptly at 1 p.m.

For $5, guests will be served roasted pork loin, scalloped potatoes and broccoli salad. Reservations are required. Call 987-3113 or email middletownluncheonclub@gmail.com before 6 p.m. Tuesday. For reservations or cancellations after Tuesday evening, call the senior center directly, 987-3113.
