HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE >> Teresa Sand of the Hidden Valley Lake 18-hole Women’s Golf Club fired a 36-hole low net total of 139 to win the two-day President’s Cup Tournament held last week at Hidden Valley Lake Golf Course.
Sand opened with a 76 on July 12 and came back with a 63 on Friday to secure the championship.
Peggy Weinschenk won the first flight, Sherrie Ebyam came in second, and Deby Braun was third.
In the second flight, Nancy Erickson topped the field, Trudy Hill was the runner-up and Shirley Krause came in third.
