LAKE COUNTY >> Lake County Sons in Retirement (SIRs) is opening up its Sept. 17 bowling tournament at the Yokayo Bowl in Ukiah not only to members and their wives/significant others, but to all those who are interested in learning about the organization.
The motto of SIRs is “Making friends for life” and bowling is one of the fun activities offered by the organization.
Check-in time for the Sept. 17 tournament is 9 a.m. at the Yokayo Bowl and bowling begins at 10 a.m. The cost is $25 per person. There will be four bowlers per lane for a full field of 64. If additional bowlers express an interest a second flight may be added.
