Cal Fire clamped down on the Foothill Fire, declaring 100 percent containment at 6 p.m. on Thursday. The blaze near Lucerne consumed 69 acres, but did no damage to structures. Meanwhile on Thursday, crews two more wildland fires, one near Sulphur Bank Road in Clearlake Oaks and one on Morgan Valley Road out of Lower Lake. – Patricia Prettie
