The United Methodist Church in Middletown was host last week to Camp Noah, a day camp specifically for elementary age children who were impacted by the Valley Fire. Local volunteer counselors took online courses to prepare and have help from three staff members of the national organization, run by Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota. Children at Camp Noah learn resiliency skills through a variety of activities, including music, skits, recreation, crafts, small groups, puppet shows and a talent show.
