Clearlake Park >> Police found a victim with multiple stab wounds at what they described as a “bloody crime scene” and warn the public their suspect remains at large as of late Monday afternoon.

Craig Allen Fenno Jr., a known transient to law enforcement, is alleged to have stabbed a man Saturday in the 3000 block of Seventh Street in Clearlake Park. Investigators have not found the weapon used and say the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous, the Clearlake Police Department (CPD) stated in a press release.

Officers who responded to the report at about 4:15 p.m. discovered the 38-year-old victim with serious apparent stab wounds to his torso. Officials are treating the case as an attempted homicide, according to the CPD.

The victim, whose identity is being withheld by authorities, was in stable conditions Monday at an out-of-county hospital where he was taken via air ambulance.

Fenno, 28, has several outstanding warrants for his arrest out of Lake and Napa counties, CPD reported. He is described as a white male 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing about 145 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.
