Darrin Knight of Kelseyville joins flagman Johnny Miskill and the two Redwood Acres Speedway trophy queens to celebrate his victory last weekend in Eureka, a win that boosted his lead in the North State Modified Series season point standings to 78 points over Darrin Sullivan. The NSMS is off until Aug. 13 when racing action resumes at the Madera Speedway. Other remaining race dates on the season schedule are Aug. 27 at Ukiah, Sept. 23-24 at Roseville, and Oct. 1 at the Shasta Speedway in Anderson. Darin Snider (2K) was the early leader in the Eureka race. Snider is tied for 19th in the season point standings.
