Lake County Democratic Club has a full agenda of speakers for Tuesday, August 9, at 6:30 p.m.:
Ms. Pat Sabo, CTA/NEA-Retired Teachers Region 1 President, on the history of Common Core Standards and current educational topics including student debt.
Mitch Markowitz, KUSD Board member, new state funding plan (LCAP)
Sean Millerick, candidate for Middletown Unified School Board.
The usual business meeting will be dispensed with in order to accommodate these speakers. Democratic Club meetings are held in the Social Hall of the Lower Lake Community United Methodist Church, 16255 Second St., Lower Lake, on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm.
All meetings are open to the public. Membership is open to registered Democrats.
