Kelseyville >> A man discovered the body of an elderly woman in a field when he was out playing Pokémon Go on Tuesday.
While walking in a field near his home in the Clearlake Rivieras area, the man found the remains of an 84-year-old woman, Lt. Steve Brooks, of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO), said in a press release. The man returned home and contacted law enforcement.
Detectives did not see any immediate signs of trauma, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of death, Brooks said. Full results are pending an official cause of death from a forensic pathologist. The decedent’s name is being withheld at this time.
