Lakeport >> The 1961 romantic comedy, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” starring Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard, screens at the Soper Reese Theatre in Lakeport on Tuesday at 1 and 6 p.m.
Blake Edward’s hymn to New York City high style and high living gives Hepburn an opportunity to give her most stylish and iconic performance, leading to an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. This charming, if not sentimental, version of Truman Capote’s famous novella features Johnny Mercer’s hit song, “Moon River.”
The movie is not rated, with run time of 1 hour 54 minutes. Entry to the film is by donation.
