Clearlake >> Police arrested a fugitive recently featured on the state of Washington’s Most Wanted in a Wal-Mart parking lot.

Justin Craig Johnson was taken into custody after a brief struggle with law enforcement when he tried to flee on Wednesday, Lt. Steve Brooks said in a press release from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO). The convicted felon was found inside a motorhome parked outside of the Clearlake store and surrounded by LCSO Major Crimes detectives and patrol deputies.

Johnson, who had an active felony warrant out of Washington for failure to appear on drug and weapon charges, was listed to be extraditable in all 50 states.

Johnson was arrested for his active out of state warrant and additionally charged with resisting arrest. He was then transported to the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility where he was booked.
