Clearlake >> Dan Stemler, environmental educator writer and publisher/editor, will present a program on health and happiness at Redbud Library on Aug. 17. The second of two lectures is focused on better living from two variant perspectives.
Stemler will give strategies on health and environmental stewardship, longevity and how to be a positive influence. He uses information from the Centers for Disease Control, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, FDA and EPA among other institutions and universities to guide his ideas.
The program will identify health hazards and resources in the home, workplace, outdoors and in the market place. It begins with a social time at 4 p.m., then a Power Point presentation from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The event also includes an audience feedback and interaction session for questions and answers.
There is no admission charge, however, a donation container will be available at the registration table at the library’s community room.
