For Bracken
Australia’s bureau of crime statistics and research acknowledges that the gun ban had no significant impact on the amount of gun involved crime.
In fact Australia’s crime rate rose
2006 stats. Assault rose 49.2 percent Robbery 6.2 percent Rape 29.9 percent overall violent crime 49.9 percent
Between 1995 -2006 Australia saw a decrease in gun related homicides of 31.9 percent per 100,000 people . America during the same period saw a decrease of 31.7 percent
You still have not shown how these laws accomplish anything. When you attempt to change the discussion by bringing up some ones remarks that have nothing to do with stupid laws. Typical liberal, if you can’t prove your point change the subject, you learned well from Hillary grasshopper

Dance hall days
Would it not be a grand project supported by county funding and on-site programs to offer the local communities, Lakeport and Clearlake, Public Dance Halls, using the large empty spaces of closed grocery store, etc. These could be used 7 days a week for Senior, Teen, different era music, square dances, country western and Culture type dances. It would take good sound systems, lighting, and top grade dance floors, with seating.
To help on-going funded needed, entrance fee’s, dance hall owned and operated snack bar sales using volunteers. Each type of dances to be successful would need to have Input from those parties who would be attracted to such dances. The dances could have different hours as to who would be the targeted users. Afterschool dances for teens would offer an activity for that age group, where at the present time is very limited, even non existent at this time.
Security could be gained by volunteer off duty law enforcement, or on-duty personnel, who could ticket any trouble makers with proceeds from any fines being used to support such a dance program. Community serve personnel could be used to keep the sites clean after each dance.
Local businesses could be contacted to support such a program with donated inventory for the snack bars. Local community clubs, such as the Lions, and others could donate funds for further support. County residents could be asked by a vote to support a .01 cent tax in the future. It would at least be something to try. A Bingo afternoon time could be used also.
Dance Halls would help with the fading trend these days to better socialize with each other, in enjoying a healthy activity for both body and soul, as music and dancing does for both. There was a time that the past that dance hall were hugely popular and why not now. It’s a venue that overs something for all our citizens and not just a few.

Support Tina Scott
I would like all my friends and supporters and voters who voted for me during my campaign for District 4 Supervisor. I want you to know that I appreciated everyone’s help and all my friends that allowed me to put signs on their property for a period of time. Thank you all for going the extra mile.
I spoke with Anthony Farrington a while ago and he asked me if I would consider supporting Tina Scott. I had met Tina Scott, who was my competitor at the time, and at two of the supervisor forums and she sat next to me. I had never met her before and I introduced myself to her. She was a very nice person with common thoughts and ideas and I appreciated her friendship. I said yes to Supervisor Farrington and I would be more than happy to and he gave her my cell number.
My cell phone rang last week and it was Tina Scott. She said she would like me to support her in her bid for Supervisor for District 4 and that she knew I had talked to Supervisor Farrington. She asked me if I would consider supporting her. I said I would be more than happy to help her because of several things. 1. She is very sincere; 2. She has total honesty in supporting our community; 3. She thinks like I do, and this is very important to my friends and to the people that voted for me to have someone that thinks exactly like I do. She has a lot of support from the community, the schools, the parents; and she is very conscientious about the schools, the libraries, the seniors and the kids in our community. I feel she would be a right on supervisor for the whole County especially District 4. This is why I am supporting her 100% in every way shape and form.
I was also very surprised when she told me that she is willing to give up to 20 percent of her income to support the non-profits in District 4 that support youth and seniors. This shows me that she is dedicated to the people in Lake County. She looks out for not only her children, but many children in our community. Tina currently serves as a School Board Member for Lakeport Unified School District, a Juvenile Justice Commissioner, also volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, also tutors with the School of Hope for our elementary school. She is willing to spend countless hours giving back and this is one of the behaviors that conveniences me to want to support her efforts.
This is why I am supporting her because she is very very conscientious about our community. I believe she will do a good job from day one. Anything she might be lacking in knowledge because of the difference in our ages and the experience I have in Lake County of knowing many powers to be for many many years and also knowing many many of our County employees for many years, I feel I could help her 100 percent for anything. I will stand beside her regardless of the circumstances.
Thank you for considering voting for Tina Scott, as I believe she is the best we can get and have for a very long time to do the job for our community
