CLEARLAKE OAKS >> Jim Steele, District 3 County Supervisor, is hosting a Town Hall on Thursday, August 17 at 6 p.m. The Town Hall meeting will be held at the Live Oak Senior Center, 12502 Foothill Blvd. in Clearlake Oaks.
The meeting agenda is diverse, including updates and an opportunity for public input on a number of important issues and activities of broad community interest.
Agenda topics include: EaRTH, East Region Town Hall — applications to join this newly formed advisory committee to the Board of Supervisors will be available; 2) Senior Center Update, a proposed meeting to discuss operational and funding issues at senior centers county-wide; 3) The Lower Lake Cemetery District, an update of the proposed dissolution of the landmark cemetery in Lower Lake; 4) The Keys — on going water quality issues; 5) Road Paving, an update of planned work and discussion of possible solutions for difficult road improvement projects; 6) Marijuana Regulations, an update of proposals and process and 7) Emergency Preparedness and fire season issues.
