Lower Lake >> In the wake of the Clayton Fire’s assault on Lower Lake, Habitat for Humanity Lake County has been left without an office. However, the efforts to assist those communities devastated by all of the fires of this last year will continue, the organization announced in a press release Monday afternoon.

The work involved in aiding families displaced by all of these fires will resume within days as the needs of the Clayton Fire are able to be assesses and the staff is able to relocate and establish a new base of operations.

There is an immediate need for office space from which Habitat can operate, in addition to the need for contributions. Donations may be made via Paypal by visiting www.lakehabitat.org or contact Savings Bank of Mendocino at (707) 462-6613. Additionally, payment can be sent by mail to PO Box 1830 Lower Lake, CA 95457.
