The Clear Lake High School varsity volleyball team officially opened practice for the 2016 season on Monday and the Cardinals make their debut a week from today when they travel to Upper Lake for a non-league match against the Cougars. Clear Lake finished 9-5 in the North Central League I standings a year ago, placing third behind league champion Kelseyville and runner-up St. Helena.
