On Sunday August 28, United Christian Parish will welcome their new intentional interim pastor.
Pastor Ginny Bettendorf is a United Methodist Minister, who has been a pastor to various churches in Colorado and Wyoming. Her involvement in the community has been as a hospice chaplain, on-call chaplain for emergencies, prison and jail bible studies for men and women and women’s cancer support group.
She currently resides in Arizona with her husband of over 35 years. They have four children and eight grandchildren. She describes herself as a writer, blogger and spiritual director; with her strengths being worship and preaching skills, a deep love of children, youth and families.
UCP is looking forward to her leadership. The church encourages all to join in welcoming her and her husband at 10 a.m. on August 28.
United Christian Parish is located at 745 N. Brush St., Lakeport.
