Take a role

I hope the Redbud Healthcare (special) District has decided to (or will soon do so) take an active role in the rebuilding and rehabilitation of Lower Lake.

O’Reilly said it

Here is Bill O’Reilly quoting evidence that Reagan’s staff thought he was mentally incompetent.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YGzXYSzzxE. Bill, himself, says Reagan was challenged.

I didn’t read ‘Killing Reagan’, I only read 4 to 5 reviews and all of them said the same thing. Bill O’Reilly did not check his facts. Sound familiar?

Would you rather read George P. Shultz’s opinion of the book?

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/08/opinion/what-bill-oreilly-gets-wrong-about-ronald-reagan.html?_r=0 . If not, here is a quote, “To claim that President Reagan suffered debilitating mental or physical damage, as the authors of “Killing Reagan” would have one believe, belies the medical facts…” Unless, of course, you don’t believe the man whom knew Reagan better than, well, most everybody.

So, while I did not take a quote from the book, this is what most reviewers took away from it.

I assume you (contesting readers) did not.

All is not well

I would strongly suggest that anyone that relies on a well in this county to conduct a performance test on it asap, especially if one has not been done recently and especially if its in close proximity of a vineyard.

At the rate of vineyard expansion that we are currently experiencing in this county, it would be most prudent to document its performance for future reference in case some litigation arises.

The BOS and the planning department do not seem overly concerned about this vineyard expansion and just keep rubber stamping these projects for the sake of ag taxes.

With enough collective documentation of any of this counties wells diminishing in performance or their permeant failure, pressure can be brought to the BOS to start acting responsibly and issue a moratorium on vineyard growth.

Currently there are residents in the surrounding hill side areas of Hidden Valley Lake reporting well failures and its believed to be caused by a massive vineyard operating there, known as Wild Diamond Vineyards LLC, owned by a elusive individual that lives in Florida with concerns and loyalties to his bank account only.

Common sense would dictate that hundreds of thousands of cases of wine from many sources should not be leaving this county for the sake of excessive profits, while Lake County residents suffer and go without water.

Many of us have noticed an increase in trucking companies transporting large water tanks thru and around Lake County. This should be the quintessential clue that this state and county are headed for difficult times ahead

If we do not receive any significant rainfall in the next few years, we may see water wars come to our state and county. the quote “whiskey is for drinking and water is for fighting for” maybe come a overwhelming reality.

Please report any diminishing performance or failures of wells to this website. https://mydrywatersupply.water.ca.gov/report?
