Lakeport >> Anderson Marsh Interpretive Association (AMIA) will present its annual fundraiser concert Sept. 10 at the Soper Reese Theatre. Proceeds from the concert will go to AMIA to help support the group’s effort to keep Anderson Marsh State Historic Park available to the public.
This will be an evening of bluegrass and traditional American music featuring Blithedale Canyon from Marin County and the Thin Air String Band from Mendocino County, along with the California State Old Time Fiddlers and local musicians.
Tickets for the event are available at the Soper Reese box office, and will be available soon at Watershed Books and the Travel Center in Lakeport, as well as at the Catfish Coffee House in Clearlake. Tickets can be purchased online now at www.soperreesetheatre.com and the night of the event.
The ticket price is $25 per person with sponsorships being offered: two tickets, $100; four tickets, $200; and eight tickets, $400. Sponsors will have reserved seating at tables up front with complimentary wine and snacks.
Wine will be poured by Thorn Hill Winery, which will donate a portion of its proceeds to AMIA. The concert starts at 7 p.m.
