Lakeport >> An orientation for Miss Lake County and Miss Lake County’s Outstanding Teen takes place Sunday at 1 p.m. Interested participants will meet at the office of Dr. David Betat, 801 11th St.
The 2017 Miss Lake County Scholarship Pageant, which takes place in October, is a preliminary to the Miss California 2017 and Miss America pageants.
Teen contestants must be ages 12 to 17 (13 before June 20, 2017). Competitors for Miss Lake County must be ages 17 to 24 (must be a high school senior and not turn 25 before June 20, 2017).
Participants need to bring a parent to orientation if they are younger than 18.
