UPPER LAKE >> The acoustic music group InVoice will perform at The Blue Wing Cafe in Upper Lake on Aug. 28 during the Sunday Brunch , from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.. The fresh stylized quartet specializes in intricate harmonies accompanied by a variety of acoustic instrumentation.
Presenting a primarily folk and folk-rock repertoire, InVoice has been together for over four years. The rich voices of Libbie Larson, Doug Harris and Bill Bordisso blend beautifully on sweet folk harmonies backed by guitar, mandola (a mandolin on steroids), harmonica, accordion, banjo, dobro, and saxophone. Larson has been a featured lead in local jazz groups.
Keith Larson rounds out the sound playing bass guitar.
