Lakeport >> Realtor Evonne Landwehr is participating in the RE/MAX Month of Miracles in August to raise funds and awareness for sick and injured children.

RE/MAX agents, offices and teams have supported Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) hospitals for 24 years through the Miracle Home program and pledging to make a donation to their local hospital after each closed property sale.

Landwehr will give a percentage of earned commissions on every property sold to the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, the nearest CMN Hospital to Lake County, and designate each residential and commercial property listed as a Miracle Home or Miracle Property.

“The Miracle Home program is a simple yet impactful way to help support the children in our rural community who might need the services of a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital,” said Landwehr, of RE/MAX Full Spectrum. “Sixty-two children enter a CMN Hospital for treatment every minute, so it’s vital that I show my support for the kids.”

Affiliates across the U.S. and Canada have raised more than $147 million for 170 member hospitals throughout North America, according to the company. Their support of has helped fund advanced medical equipment, health care services and charitable care.

Buyers and sellers are also able to request that their home or commercial property be a Miracle Home or Miracle Property. They are identifiable by a rider on top of RE/MAX yard signs. Many homes on remax.com are flagged as Miracle Homes with a CMN Hospitals balloon icon. Landwehr’s current Miracle Homes can be found at her website: www.elandwehr.remaxagent.com.
