LOWER LAKE >> The Lower Lake Historical School Preservation Committee is accepting submissions for its Annual Quilt and Fiber Arts Show through September 3. The show will be held from September 17 through October 15 in the Weaver Auditorium.
Featured artists this year are Sheila O’Hara, Sherry Harris and numerous quilters from throughout Lake County. Antique quilts and an 1807 spinning wheel will also be on display.
An Artist’s Reception will be held Saturday, September 17, from noon until 2 p.m. Quilt and textile artists will discuss their work. The committee will also have several demonstrations on weaving, spinning and basket making.
