The symptoms and emotions that widowed persons go through can be very bewildering, and unless someone has suffered the same loss, they cannot understand what you endure.
Talking with other widowed persons who do understand can be the most helpful tool available on the road to recovery. But after recovery, then what?
Widowed Persons Association of California, an all volunteer support and social group, has helped thousands of people recover from that trauma and rebuild their lives. WPAC has 22 chapters throughout the state, each with their own calendar of social activities. The Lake County chapter goes to lunches and take bus tours and other activities.
