A special thank you to Pastor Dawn Roberts of Clearlake Oaks United Methodist Church for hosting a concert Thursday evening featuring Brent Vernon. The event was attended by a small but enthusiastic gathering.
Vernon is a wonderful performer. His musical talents are tremendous as well as the stories behind them. As a ventriloquist, author, illustrator, and songwriter Vernon brought a flavor to the stage that is unmatched.
Of course it goes without saying that Sam, the puppet, was a special draw. If you haven’t met Sam, you’re in for an exceptional treat. He flutters his eyelashes, winks and smiles.
