It turns out that the nutrients and herbs taken to halt neurodegeneration are the same ones taken to prevent it.
Yes, the first thing to do is dramatically reduce consumption of both refined sugar and artificial sweeteners.
Now, realize that sugars come in the form of carbohydrates also. So if you have dementia or Alzheimer’s you may want to go on a ketogenic diet for awhile until the issue is well underhand. Ketones are the result of the body burning fats for energy, Fats burn calories as well as do carbs. So a high fat diet — no processed fats such as trans fats — with plenty of nuts, seeds, avocados, and oils such as olive and coconut are great.
Now, to the nutrients that will halt progression of neurodegeneration.
1. Vitamin B-12
2. Niacinimide B-3
3. Coconut oil
4. Turmeric
5. Ginko biloba
6. N acetyl tyrosine
7. Acetyl L carnitine
8. Regular meditation for stress reduction
There are more but for now these are a great start. Of course I cannot give doses, as only a qualified health practitioner can do that in private consultation.
But remember, omitting toxic substances is a major step in halting degeneration.
Cut our consumption of flouride. Do not consume GMOs as they may create omega 3s in the brain to go rancid. EMF damage brain neurons. Cut out aluminum found in many antiperspirants.
An excellent resource is the book “Stop Alzheimer’s Now!” by Bruce Fife.
