Lake County Democratic Central Committee
Its regular monthly business meeting will be Thursday at the United Democratic Campaign Headquarters at 6:30 p.m.
The agenda for the meeting includes reports from representatives for congressmen Mike Thompson and John Garamendi, Assemblyman Bill Dodd and state Sen. Mike McGuire, as well as reports from the representative of the Lake County Democratic Club.
Meetings are open to the public and committee membership is open to all registered Democrats.
The Lake County Democratic Central Committee is the official governing body for the Democratic Party in Lake County.

Lake County Democratic Club
The club will host three speakers at its meeting Tuesday at the United Democratic Campaign Headquarters at 6:30 p.m.
Margaret Koster is a retired social worker devoted to Move to Amend. She will address the club on Proposition 59 — “Overturn Citizens United.”
Joey Luiz will speak on his candidacy for Clearlake City Council.
Sean Millerick will speak on his candidacy for the Middletown Unified School District Board.
The usual business meeting will be shortened and only time-sensitive subjects will be addressed in order to accommodate these speakers. Democratic Club meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. Note that for the next few months meetings may be at alternate locations.
All meetings are open to the public. Membership is open to registered Democrats.
