KELSEYVILLE >> The Lake County Sheriff’s Activity League boxing program is holding sign-ups Sept. 19 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Kelseyville Presbyterian Church youth center in Kelseyville.
Boys and girls ages 8-18 are eligible to participate. Eighteen-year-olds must still be enrolled in high school. There is a limited number of space and sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no sign-up fee.
To be eligible students must have a current physical exam and must use a mouthpiece. The program encourages physical fitness and teaches boxing skills as well as respect for yourself and others. Competitive boxing is an option.
