SALT LAKE CITY >> Three Lake County students received their degree from Western Governors University. The university held its 31st semi-annual commencement ceremony inSalt Lake City on July 16 and celebrated the graduation of more than 8,000 graduates.
Earning degrees were:
* Ryan Clair of Lakeport, Bachelor of Science in IT — Security Emphasis degree.
* Kim Cooper of Upper Lake,Master of Science in Nursing — Leadership and Management degree.
* Paul Lane of Upper Lake, MBA in Management and Strategy degree.
At its commencement, the university awarded 4,944 undergraduate and 3,103 graduate degrees in business, information technology, K-12 teacher education, and healthcare professions, including nursing.
Dell Loy Hansen, founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Wasatch Group, delivered the commencement address.
