Going to the extreme
This letter is in response to Mac McKay’s letter in the 9/10/16 Record-Bee. As usual, most of his letter was a repeat of his dislike and distrust of the “Dems” and Hillary Clinton. Yes, Mac, we hear you. We have heard you frequently.
However, the first part of his letter caught my attention — the part about the WWII veteran. According to Mac, that war was fought against Socialism. Sorry, Mac. That war was fought against Hitler and the Nazis.
Nazism is an extreme form of nationalism. Hitler’s “Germany first,” kill all the Jews, blacks, gays, mentally disabled and anyone else who could undermine his dream of Germany as a white Aryan nation kind of sounds like someone you greatly admire, doesn’t it, Mac?
Donald Trump has made it plain that he believes America needs a strong, authoritative president — one that eliminates all oppostion to his plans and beliefs. Is that what the average American wants? Is that even what you want, Mac?
Now that would make WWII veterans roll over in their graves.

Schaupp for Assembly
It gives me great pleasure to endorse a true American in the 4th Assembly District race. As one of the Primary candidates last spring I got to know Charlie Schaupp and watched him, under pressure, accurately and concisely offer real solutions or our State’s many problems.
Charlie has served our country in ways that I can only imagine at high personal risk. As a U.S. Marine, Charlie put his life on the line for us in both Desert Storm and the Battle of Fallujah. Charlie voluntary severed 28 years with the U.S. Marines seeing combat service in two wars, participated in counter drug deployments, coordinated anti-terrorist operations, and was even given high accolades for helping prepare the Japanese Self Defense Force (Japan’s military) for deployment to aid allied forces in Iraq. This was Japan’s first combat deployment since World War II as America’s ally. No other candidate that I have ever met has that distinguished of a background.
Charlie’s family has been part of our California heritage for over a century and they have farmed in our district for 5 generations! Charlie did not have to serve in the Marines, rather he chose to because he is a patriot. He now continues with his family to farm and he is asking for our support.
The 4th Assembly District needs a representative who truly understands the needs of our District in small business, agriculture, education, water storage & procurement and a host of other areas. Because of this, and much more, I wholeheartedly endorse Charlie Schaupp as the best choice for Assembly in the 4th Assembly District in 2016

Still missing it
Like in Washington DC, Kevin trips back and forth between Fantasy Land and the Land of Oz, (i.e. smoke and mirrors). He thinks not telling the truth is not lying. Everybody knows what I am saying but Kevin. He parses words, just like the lawyer who got a murderer off because he suffered from Affluenza. Kevin also believes that the deal made with the Admin of the Shaw of Iran, which doesn’t exist now, should be paid to Iran so they can further terrorism around the World. Iran has been labeled as a World Sponsor of terrorism. There should have been a legal way to stop this payment but this Administration chose not to go down that path. You have to ask yourself, why?
And apparently Kevin missed the fact that an Iranian hostage on a plane was told they were not leaving until another plane arrived or that the Administration told everyone it was not a ransom and then a few days later said it was? You call it anything you want, but most people would call it a ransom, (i.e. a lie).
And maybe Militaristic Socialism would satisfy Kevin, that’s what Russia is. And Kevin, Kevin Corke and John Grizzi are not with the “White House Press Corps”. I fact checked them and they are White House Correspondents. And yes, George Will is a devout Conservative, but he and O’Reilly dislike each other and it has now escalated to a war of words. I printed out Will’s Column (2 pages) and two things stood out, 365 days is too short to do a book and Reagan was not diagnosed with “Alzheimer’s” until 13 years after he was shot.
Everybody has a right to their opinion and Kevin’s opinion of me is well known, but his hit pieces will not deter me from expressing my opinion! Period! If it upsets you so much, quit reading my letters.
And there is (I think an Ad) that shows Trey Goudy asking James Comey about HRC’s lies, but it airs on the “Right Wing Conspiracy” Channels. Goudy asks Comey a question and Comey replies HRC lied (i.e. Goudy asks “Did she tell the truth” Comey’s answer “No” and in my book that means she lied). Quite amusing to say the least.
And finally Colin Powell’s words “Everything HRC touches, she screws up,” will echo from now until November. It’s about time somebody tells the truth, not to mention the other damning info to come out of his hacked emails.
Question: Would you do business with the Clintons? I bet Kevin would, and then scream bloody murder after he got screwed over. No, on second thought, he would probably praise them. Just a little humor people, just like an editorial cartoon.
