Lakeport >> Lakeport Christian Center’s (LCC) Women of the Word will host a regional event entitled “Sisterhood.” There will be women attending from areas encompassing Fort Bragg to Hidden Valley Lake. Sisterhood will take place in the Fellowship Hall today at 11 a.m.
Featured speaker is Marcia Weeks, registered nurse from Fort Bragg. Her topic is “You are God’s Masterpiece.” There will also be special music, a treasure table, prizes, fellowship and food.
The women of the region are collecting twin bedding for missionaries who serve worldwide and bringing all bedding to LCC. Check out the tremendous display of bedding.
The event is free and open to everyone. LCC is located near the Lake County fairgrounds at 455 S. Forbes St. in Lakeport.
