Upper Lake >> The Upper Lake Community Food Project will take place today at 10 a.m. on the porch of the Odd Fellow’s Hall in downtown Main Street.

Sign in and wait for your name to be called. One food bag per household only, and you must be present. Bags will be provided until supply runs out.

Additional nonperishable canned foods, grooming and household products will also be available.

Donations of garden vegetables and fruit are welcomed. Clothing for men, women and children will be available to look through and take. Not accepting clothing at this time. Bring paper or cloth bags. Volunteers will provide hand out material, flyers for CalFresh and provide applications for the CalFresh debit program for seniors. Volunteers are able to help people fill out the CalFresh application at the Upper Lake Senior Support Services Office on the corner of First Street and Mendenhall on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Applications are available to fill out on the computer.
