Clearlake >> Police arrested three people and towed multiple vehicles Thursday afternoon at a now red tagged home.
The residence in the 3500 block of Maple Street of Clearlake was subject to numerous issues brought forward from the public, city Sgt. Tim Hobbs said in a media release. As part of an ongoing community oriented policing project, Clearlake Police Department officers conducted a probation search and arrest warrant service at about 3:15 p.m.
As a result, the following people were arrested and booked into the Lake County Hill Road Correction Facility:
Jason Tate, 47, was charged with resisting arrest.
William Rankin, 40, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Jennifer Morse, 32, was charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Six vehicles that were unlawfully parked on Maple Street blocking the roadway and or had expired registration were towed, Hobbs reported.
Additionally, the home was found to have numerous building code violations and determined to be unsafe to inhabit. Clearlake Code Enforcement officers responded to the location and red tagged the residence.
Anyone with ongoing problems in their neighborhood can contact the officers assigned to the community oriented policy beat in which they live, Hobbs said.
