Lower Lake >> Rene Abouf will lead a workshop on holotropic breathwork Saturday at Bikram Yoga Lake County.
The breathwork is based on the scientific study of Wilhelm Reich, student of Sigmund Freud. Reich claimed that all disease in the body is due to stagnant energy held in the body. He developed a set of breathing exercises to loosen the body armoring holding energy in place.
This workshop is appropriate for anyone new to breathwork and those with experience. It will take place from 7 to 10 p.m.
