Upper Lake >> Earth and Fire Pottery will present “How to Make Sauerkraut,” part of a continuing series of one-hour classes countywide. This class will take place Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Lake County Wine Studio.
Master potter Gregg Lindsley will demonstrate the basics of making your own sauerkraut, and will discuss the health benefits of regularly using fermented foods. Gregg will also discuss how to make kimchi and other types of ferment, and demonstrate how to use a live-culture fermentation crock.
