CLEARLAKE >> Two people found inside a red tagged residence after parking in the middle of a street were arrested this week for possession of drugs and fireworks.

Clearlake police responding to a call Monday evening regarding the red tagged property in the 16700 block of Cache Creek Lane came across the vehicle blocking the road. Inside the house they encountered Cray Hall and Krystal Peng, both 30.

Officers initially placed the pair under arrest for entering the tagged residence. Before having the vehicle towed, however, they conducted a search and discovered heroin, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and other items allegedly associated with the sale of drugs. In addition, officers noted fireworks, along with pieces identified with Hall and Peng.

The pair were arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail facing charges of possession of heroin for sale, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of fireworks without a permit.
