Lake County >> The first meeting of the 2016-17 season for the Clear Lake Junior Horsemen’s Club took place Aug. 19. It was run by president Kia Kohler, secretary Liv Dobush and treasurer Shalyn Keithly, who will be the team of leaders this year for the 10 children attendance.
During the season, the club members will practice for their summer performance at the Lake County Rodeo.
They also have a camping trip coming up on Oct. 22 at Lake Sonoma. There will be horseback riding all day and dinner around the campfire with s’mores for dessert.
